Boston Marathon..result!

Dear Clair, I hope you are well.

You may recall I had knee surgery under the care of Simon Thompson on 8th December. 

Last Monday (15th April) I completed the Boston Marathon in a time of 2:54. Simon gave me the all clear on 29th February and as he knew I was going to take part in the Boston Marathon he asked me to send across a picture of me holding the medal at the end of the marathon so here it is!!!

Writing this up I’m quite emotional as I’m so grateful to Simon and his team who gave me such excellent care and enabled me to not just run again but get back to racing properly in such a short period of time.

Please pass on a marathon thanks and appreciation to Simon I can’t thank him enough!
